ABOUT THIS AWARD: This recognition intends to expand the diversity and inclusivity landscape and develop a strategic roadmap to encourage and recognize local boards striving to foster a more inclusive and fair industry. This recognition award will consider board size, which will be reflected through granular changes in the application process.
The base requirements seen at the small board level are to encourage the implementation of Diversity and Inclusivity into strategic planning with feasibility in mind. There is differentiation at each level; they are meant to expand active Diversity and Inclusivity commitments. The following benchmarks and requirements serve as a vehicle for associations to think critically about their Diversity goals and grow as leaders for change.
The program will consider the size of your board, ensuring a fair and equitable application process. Recipients of this recognition will be honored at the Texas REALTORS® Winter Meeting and featured on the Texas REALTORS® Diversity Committee’s Website.
